Over the past 10 years, obesity surgery has become more prevalent as a viable option to treat obesity, diabetes, and prevent a multitude of medical comorbidities in patients who have struggled with their weight. Dr. Bock has completed a doctoral program that specialized in the treatment of bariatric surgery patients. He has been the bariatric coordinator for a bariatric program in Mercer County for over six years and has helped thousands of patients undergoing bariatric surgery in his career. He specializes in the management of patients through the entire process of a bariatric program. Dr. Bock is able to individualize your plan of care to optimize weight loss and prevent weight regain. He also is trained to help alleviate food intolerance, improve hydration and establish an individualized supplement regimen to ensure that you lose in a healthy manner. We do not simply provide clearance for surgery. We take great pride in being able to walk a patient through the preoperative process, assist the patient through the initial postoperative and provide coaching and reinforcement to sustain weight loss long-term. Dr. Bock has authored educational materials for major surgical and pharmaceutical companies that are provided to bariatric surgery patients, as well as several research projects to demonstrate his success with postoperative weight loss and the prevention of complications after surgery.
